A little one on one walk down memory lane about the amazing French fashion designer,
Christian Dior. This French Designer was born 1905 in Granville, France. His family was involved with a manufacture of fertilizer. As an adult he sold his fashion sketches, for 10 cents, to make money. He found his “true love,” in being a fashion designer. However, he did not begin his ventures in fashion. Before finding and doing what he enjoyed he started an Art Gallery that never really made it off the floor. The Art Gallery closed shortly after it was opened. He had to close the art gallery after a family financial tragedy. He began working in fashion and within 10 years he had boutiques and houses of couture in over 20 countries. His death has not quite been determined, except that he died of an heart attack in Oct. 23, 1957. He now is a fashion icon with many celebrities supporting his name.
